(WHY-uh) Alaskan Malamutes do the jobs they were originally intended to do (packing,
sledding, and weight
pulling) while living in a modern home environment (conformation,
obedience, and therapy) and sleeping on the
couch. The best gift we can give our dogs
is a job.
As breeders,
it is our responsibility to only use dogs who are a credit to their breed.

Akai. Saturday, Akai was WD/BW/Best Bred-By for 2 pts, Bright was
Reserve. Sunday

7/2011 Oak Ridge, TN, APBA weightpull @ ORKC. Pax
& Wyatt pulled on rails for the first time, which took some getting used
to. <G> But they both still managed to come home with
their first APBA weightpull title, and a first place, and 2 third
places... they are now.

Hoodoo who blows us all away with 2 WD, 2 BW, and 2 BOB for 2 majors.

| 10/2010 Murfreesboro AKC conformation - Sunny gets 2 more
majors (needs 2 singles to finish) by going Best of Winners. Akai gets
his first major on Saturday and Sirius gets his 4th major on Sunday -- Wahoo!
Hoodoo his first major reserve & Boogie had a grand time in Puppy class.

| 9/2010 Chattanooga AKC conformation - Sirius gets his 3rd
major (all majors so far). Akai and Sunny are just warming up
apparently! Akai's first weekend showing and he spent more time on his
back wooing at kids, Sunny is coming back out as a 7y trying to
finish. She has a 4pt major and 3 singles, but hasn't shown in years. |
| 3/2010 - Littermates Pax, Hoodoo, and Denver go to the AKC
Music City Cluster in Franklin with cousin Sirius and kennelmate Honey.
Sirius came back with both his majors and Pax came back with 2 major
reserves -- way to go boys! We had a good time and got to play with
dogs all weekend, what could be better? |
| 2/2010 - Rider X Summer 1999 litter reunites @ the GA Peach
State Sieger -- super veterans Snowman, Singer, & Tom T. come for fun in Marietta.
They bring along kennel cousin Hoodoo who won multiple Bred-By Group
1s. Snowman added another Best In Show Veteran to his list. Tom
T. scored three BIS Veterans to high praise from the judges, and Singer came
along to pester her brothers. So Tom & Hoodoo have added titles,
and Snow and Sing remain the same:

| 7/2009 - News from Florida, both Snowman & Ryder have
added UKC Rally Obedience Level 1 titles (URO1) and Ryder is now
International & National CH (INT/NAT CH)

| 6/2009 - Singer's 2 daughters Sera & Sunny go to the AKC
Rally show at Waynesville, NC. Sera finishes her AKC Rally Advanced (RA) and
sister Sunny finishes her AKC Rally Novice (RN) which makes them:

sister Sunny earns two AKC Rally Novice legs at the AKC Rally show at Harriman, TN. |

'Wayeh' is the Cherokee word for Wolf....
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle
that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is
between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,
humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion
and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked,
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." |
