Sunny Sunshine always has a smile on her face. Her favorite thing is NOT weightpulling, it's going back to school -- vacation bible school, middle school -- nursing homes, and flattening her ears right before the camera clicks.

Think Sunny looks like Storm? She should. Sunny is Storm's half sister through their papa Charles. But their grand-dam and dam are both out of Justice (bred to Yuke and Yuke's grandson Shadow). Hope was linebred and Summer was outcrossed. Confused yet?

Sunny is bright sunshine with everyone. She is everything Summer was but more -- more coat, more sweetness, more of a delight to live with... <G> (Sorry, Summer, you were hard to live with, darling.)

If I had a picture of the ideal bitch in my mind, and what breeder doesn't, Sunny is as close as I ever dreamed I would get to that picture. Yes, she has faults (we don't want to discuss trying to get her to hold her ears up instead of off the side of her head) but all in all, she is the blend I have been striving for -- Wayeh plus Snow Song's temperament/pigment and Charles' coat/movement. And since her grandma Summer and her poppa Charles have very similar phenotype (save his smaller ear) we're pleased she pulled from both of them.

In 2007, Sunny has so far taken three major reserves, a 4-pt major, WB/BOS, & WB/BOB. We are so proud of her in groups, tail wagging and grinning the whole time.

At the Nov 08 UKC weightpulls, Storm pulled 1500# to finish her UWP and will be back working on her weightpull championship -- way to go, little girl! Charles X Singer kids, Sunny & Maestro, earned my first UKC weightpull titles, and their sister Storm is hot on their heels.
