Dog Association (which I joined)
Saturday, Maestro finished his UWP with 760# and a third place.
Sunny finished her UWP with 1360# (she pulled 1510# but I fouled her and
it didn't count) and a second place. Storm earned her first leg
with 1818#, first place, and Most Weight Pulled. <G>
Sunday, Storm pulled 2210#, 25x her weight, first place, and did NOT
get Most Weight Pulled, that honor went to a little pittie that pulled
50x his weight -- way to GO! Sera got her first leg with 760# and
Brady with 860# -- a vast improvement over Athens.

Smoky Mtn Dog Club UKC all breed dog show & weightpull -- Brady
is now RBIS UKC "Brady" and Sunny &
Maestro picked up 2
weightpull legs this weekend and many points/majors towards their UKC CH
titles. Sera and Naula are also
pulling and getting better every time they harness up.
  
Note - Darlene M., Naula's owner, said, Let me
try this conformation stuff. I said, Sure, here's Brady,
he's an easy dog, just go over there and play while Maestro and
I get serious about winning. That worked on
Saturday. On Sunday....
Brady - Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show with his completely
novice handler! Way to go, Darlene & Brady!

*Sunny and Maestro were 2 of 4 dogs on Saturday who earned
the Total Dog Award for Best of their Sex in conformation PLUS
qualifying leg in performance event at the same show, same
day. On Sunday, Sunny was 1 of 2 dogs who earned the Total
Dog Award.

"My wonderful, perfect Snowman earned his Rally Advanced Excellent Title today at the Thronateeska Kennel Club in Albany Georgia. He had to show in Excellent and Advance--qualify in both to count as one leg. His scores yesterday were 88 in Ex and 98 in Advanced with a 4th place. Today he did me proud with a 99--3rd place and a 98--4th place. His RAE Title took 5 weekends and 10 trials. From Snow's very first Rally Trial--back when we started with the World Wide Kennel Club--up through today, he has been in 68 Rally trials with only 2 NQ's and that was in the Advanced level. The first one--I had to send him over a jump--close to the jump was the off-set figure 8 with four food bowls--need I say more. The second time was at the Excellent level--we had to go from a fast pace to a slow and the judge NQed us because I didn't go slow enough. And for those who don't really know Snow and all of his accomplishments, he is registered in four different registries and has titles in Rally, Obedience, Agility and Conformation."

Sno Daze - 1/2/2008 we woke up to a dusting of snow -- which, hey, is a lot for
East TN. Too the camera and turned them loose. When the sun
came up over the ridges, we were done with pics, too much glare, but the
dogs kept playing and playing and playing! |
