Temperament Tests

- Seal girl (CA) at first said, I really don't want to do this, but if you insist...  Once she got a feel for things, and started exploring, she would go find a pinecone, and then come back to the lap.  She would go find a pine needle, and then come back to the lap.  Then she decided to take a nap in the lap.... when I brought out all three, she was a live wire.  But alone she wanted to cling.  She is a follower, and quiet.  But feels everything very deeply.  When I laid down in the driveway and let them play, she decided to clean my whole face, including my glasses.

- Agouti girl has her daddy Clay's paw wave.  From 10 feet away, she will duck her head and throw her front paw at you, swinging from the shoulder.  It is adorable in an adult male.  In a 6w puppy, it's the cutest thing you've ever seen.  And she GRINS the whole time.  Agouti and True Black are social outgoing puppies, happy puppies, that don't really have that clingy gene, like Seal does.  But they are already exploring, and they are going to be hell on wheels if they ever get off leash.

- True Black may be a long-coat.  It's a BIG coat and since he likes to barrel down hills at 90 mph, and inevitably trips and rolls, that big coat is picking up pine needle debris, leaves, and twigs.  He LOVES rolling, and if you touch him, he throws himself on his back and kicks his feet and makes sure he "mops" the ground with his big coat.  He and Agouti are going to be movie stars -- when they walk in the room, heads will turn.  They will be the life of the party, the center of attention, and that's just where they want to be..
