We both had a dog show this weekend.  I asked Annie Easley to housesit and dogsit.  She's had Siberians for years, worked rescue for years, and has whelped several litters -- just in case Hannah had her puppies early..... of course she did.  Annie was up all night Friday night to Saturday morning.  Dr Matt lives next door and he came by a couple of times to check on things, give her a shot to help with inertia (got things going, too!).  And Annie was up all night telling Hannah how good she was doing, and calling Hannah's nervous Nelly owners and reassuring us that things we going well.  <G>  THANK YOU, ANNIE!!!!!!

Annie's notes:

Friday 6:34p 1st baby -- female, b/w full mask ((heard the distinctive squeaking and Hannah woofed to tell me to come running and see what she'd done!))
8:35p called Dr Matt & Sid, said to give it another hour, walk her around, carry a towel over my shoulder ((needed it later))
10:15p Oxytocin given by Dr Matt, no puppy in birth canal
** Will give second shot at 12:15 if no puppy born in meantime
** Dr Matt not working Saturday, call if needed and will go in (because Sidney would kill him otherwise and he knows it full well)
