| MeatMuscle meat is the subject here. Heart, ground, chunk, steak, brisket, all of these bone-less cuts are to be considered.
There is some great debate about how much bone and how much meat a dog should eat. What size prey animal is your model? If it's an elk or a seal, it changes things considerably than if it is a rabbit. If you think of a supermarket chicken, you're getting an invalid picture of what a wild dog would find on a wild bird's nest. A supermarket chicken is nothing nature intended as far as proportions of meat to bone to organs is concerned. Meat is an important source of vitamins, minerals, natural enzymes, and amino acids. |
